Senior Mechanical QC Engineer

Senior Mechanical QC Engineer responsible for managing mechanical quality activities on oil and gas EPC projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and ADNOC requirements. The role covers inspection, testing, quality documentation, NCR management, and coordination with project teams. ADNOC approval is preferred; strong ADNOC project experience may also be considered. Storage tank experience is highly preferred.
- Manage and supervise mechanical QC activities for oil and gas EPC projects.
- Ensure mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
- Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures.
- Conduct inspections and monitor mechanical fabrication, installation, erection, and testing activities.
- Inspect mechanical equipment, piping, structural components, and related works as required.
- Review material certificates, inspection reports, test records, and other quality documents.
- Raise, monitor, and close NCRs and other quality issues.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, subcontractors, and client/consultantrepresentatives.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC requirements and project quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
- Support preparation and completion of mechanical quality dossiers and handover documents.
- Monitor quality performance and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Provide technical guidance to QC inspectors and construction teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Senior-level Mechanical QC experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- ADNOC approval is highly preferred.
- Candidates without ADNOC approval may be considered with strong ADNOC project experience
. - Storage tank experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection, fabrication, installation, erection, and testing.
- Experience with ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Good knowledge of relevant international standards and ADNOC requirements.
- Experience working with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and client/consultantteams.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE/GCC Oil & Gas experience is preferred.
