We are seeking a qualified Quality Control Inspector – Welding with proven experience in tanks and piping projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all welding and fabrication activities comply with project specifications, codes, and standards. The ideal candidate must hold a recognized welding inspection certification such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or an equivalent approved by ADNOC.

  • Perform inspection and verification of welding activities in accordance with approved WPS, drawings, and applicable codes/standards
  • Conduct visual inspections of welds, fit-ups, and joint preparations
  • Monitor welding parameters and ensure compliance with qualified procedures
  • Review and verify material certificates and welding consumables
  • Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
  • Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials and welds
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation
  • Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions
  • Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and project quality requirements
Skills Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Valid welding inspection certification:
  • CSWIP 3.1, or
  • AWS-CWI, or
  • Equivalent certification approved by ADNOC
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Welding QC Inspector
  • Proven experience in tanks and piping projects (oil & gas preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ADNOC standards and specifications is highly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
