- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality standards.
- Ensure products and processes comply with applicable specifications, codes, and company quality procedures.
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using appropriate measuring and testing equipment.
- Identify, document, and report quality defects and non-conformities.
- Prepare inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, and other quality-related documentation.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
- Inspect and verify materials received from suppliers against approved specifications and documentation.
- Support supplier and subcontractor quality assessments when required.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure proper document control.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment is maintained.
- Investigate recurring quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE and quality policies.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering
, or a related field. - 4–6 years of relevant experience in quality inspection/QA-QC, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial environments.
- Good knowledge of quality management systems and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with measuring and inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other relevant equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- ASQ / CQI certification or equivalent quality qualification.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
- Relevant NDT certifications where applicable.
- Other industry-specific inspection certifications would be an advantage.
