Job description

We are looking for Civil QA/QC Engineer for Individual Villas is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction works for villa projects are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable quality standards. The role involves implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures across all phases of construction, from site mobilization to final handover, ensuring that workmanship, materials, and construction methodologies meet required standards.

QA QC ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Implement and maintain project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for villa construction works.
• Ensure compliance with project quality plans, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and applicable standards.
• Establish and enforce site quality control procedures in coordination with project management and consultants.
• Conduct regular site inspections for all civil works including excavation, foundation, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing works.
• Verify that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Review and verify material submittals for civil works such as cement, steel reinforcement, aggregates, concrete, blocks, waterproofing materials, and finishes.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and ensure materials meet approved quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for material approvals.
• Prepare and manage Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
• Ensure timely submission and closure of inspection requests.
• Monitor testing activities such as concrete cube tests, compaction tests, waterproofing tests, and soil testing.
• Ensure all testing is carried out by approved laboratories and results comply with project specifications.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformance reports (NCRs) for defective or non-compliant works.
• Coordinate with site teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track NCR closure and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Review method statements and work procedures submitted by contractors.
• Ensure construction methodologies comply with project specifications and safety requirements.
• Maintain proper QA/QC documentation including checklists, reports, and inspection records.
