Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Quality Control Manager to oversee and manage quality control and food safety activities across our food manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, production processes, finished products, hygiene standards, and quality systems comply with company requirements and applicable UAE food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Quality Control and Food Safety functions within the manufacturing facility.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, SOPs, and food safety standards
  .
• Monitor quality at every stage, from raw material receiving to production, packaging, storage, and dispatch
  .
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
  .
• Conduct regular inspections of production areas, equipment, storage facilities, and employee hygiene practices.
• Monitor and verify CCPs, GMP, GHP, HACCP
  , and other food safety control measures.
• Review laboratory and quality test results and take corrective action where required.
• Investigate customer complaints, product quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations.
• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and monitor their effectiveness.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, procurement, maintenance, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Conduct internal audits and support external and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, inspection documents, and compliance records.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory and quality control equipment.
• Train employees on food safety, hygiene, GMP, quality standards, and company procedures
  .
• Monitor supplier and raw material quality and coordinate supplier quality evaluations when required.
• Support product development, trials, shelf-life studies, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare regular quality performance reports and management reports
  .
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product defects, wastage, customer complaints, and quality-related losses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
  .
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry
  .
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, food safety, and quality management systems
  .
• Knowledge of UAE food safety requirements and regulatory standards will be an advantage.
• Experience in handling audits, inspections, non-conformities, CAPA, and customer complaints
  .
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a team and work effectively with production and other departments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Candidates with dairy, food processing, or manufacturing experience will be preferred.

• HACCP Certification
• ISO 22000 / Food Safety Management System
• Internal Auditor Certification
• Lead Auditor Certification will be an advantage
