Specialist – Training Standards and Evaluation
GAL is seeking an experienced Specialist – Training Standards and Evaluation to join our Training Centre of Excellence (TCOE) in Abu Dhabi, supporting training quality assurance, standards compliance and continuous improvement across military and aviation training operations.
The successful candidate will support the evaluation, validation and quality assurance of training programs, ensuring alignment with approved procedures, customer requirements and applicable training standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct training quality audits, compliance reviews and internal validation activities.
- Review SAT/ADDIE-based course design documentation, training materials, learning objectives and assessment methods.
- Evaluate instructional delivery, instructor performance and training effectiveness.
- Analyze trainee and instructor feedback, identify trends and prepare course evaluation reports.
- Review assessment processes, examination controls and training records to ensure compliance and integrity.
- Monitor corrective actions, maintain quality assurance records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support accreditation activities, external quality reviews and training management system (TMS) compliance.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training & Development, Quality Management or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in training quality assurance, course evaluation, training standards or related functions.
- Experience with in a military, aviation or technical training environment is highly desirable.
- Practical knowledge of SAT/ADDIE methodologies, training validation, assessment principles and quality management systems.
- Experience conducting audits, reviewing compliance evidence and preparing evaluation reports.
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Certifications in quality assurance, internal auditing, instructional techniques or training assessment would be advantageous.
