Head – QA​/QC

Sobha Construction is seeking an experienced Head – QA/QC to lead quality assurance and quality control operations across major residential developments in Abu Dhabi. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience overseeing quality standards on high-rise towers, master-planned communities, and large-scale residential projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality management systems, leading QA/QC teams across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with international construction standards, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout all stages of construction.

• Lead and oversee QA/QC activities across multiple large-scale residential construction projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
• Supervise quality audits, inspections, testing, and compliance activities.
• Ensure all construction work complies with international quality standards and project specifications.
• Manage and mentor QA/QC teams while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and maintain project excellence.
• Drive quality performance and ensure best practices are implemented across all project phases.

• Minimum 20 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within construction projects.
• Strong background in high-rise residential tower developments.
• Experience with master development and community projects is highly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, inspections, audits, testing, and compliance.
• Proven leadership experience managing QA/QC teams across multiple construction projects.
• Strong understanding of international construction quality standards and industry best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional quality throughout every stage of construction.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) and QA/QC procedures
  • Construction audits, inspections, testing, and compliance
  • International construction quality standards and best practices
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related Engineering discipline (Estimated)
