Job Description

The Lab Technician 18F26 is a critical role within our laboratory team, responsible for supporting scientific investigations and experiments. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle laboratory equipment, prepare samples, and conduct tests while adhering to safety protocols and standards. The successful candidate will manage laboratory-related tasks, ensure equipment is well maintained, and collaborate with scientists to achieve research objectives.

Additionally, they must document and maintain accurate records of their work, conduct data analysis, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions and improvements in laboratory procedures. • Conduct experiments and analyze resulting data to support research objectives.
• Prepare chemical solutions and media according to standardized laboratory practices.
• Ensure the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all laboratory activities and findings.
• Assist in the development and validation of new testing methodologies and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with scientists and researchers to design and execute experiments.
• Order and maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies and consumables.
• Perform sample collection, preparation, and storage following best practices.
• Provide technical support and training to junior laboratory staff and interns.
• Complete laboratory reports and contribute to scientific publications when necessary.
• Participate in the cleanup and organization of laboratory work spaces regularly.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field is required.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and practices is essential.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Skilled in analyzing scientific data and summarizing findings in reports.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
