• Conduct independent research across topics such as high-dimensional probability, stochastic analysis, neural network theory, and reinforcement learning
• Contribute to theoretical foundations of AI including bandit algorithms, statistical learning theory, and large language model analysis
• Collaborate with faculty within the CIDSAI Foundations Cluster
• Develop research outputs including publications, reports, and academic presentations
• Participate in research seminars, workshops, and collaborative initiatives
• Support the development of emerging research directions in foundational AI

• PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a closely related field
• Strong mathematical background with expertise in one or more targeted research areas
• Ability to work on theoretical aspects of modern AI systems
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving capability, and research independence
• Proven ability to contribute to high-quality academic publications
• Strong communication and collaborative research skills

• Knowledge of high-dimensional probability and functional inequalities
• Experience with stochastic processes and mathematical modeling
• Understanding of deep learning theory and reinforcement learning foundations
