• Design and develop novel medical devices aimed at modulating physiological and neural activity
• Contribute to projects involving cardiovascular, neurologic, and metabolic disease mechanisms
• Perform device fabrication, drug conjugation, and in vitro and in vivo experimentation
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary research environment
• Support additional research initiatives within CENTMED
• Prepare publications, reports, and scientific documentation
• Contribute to the translation of engineering innovations into clinical applications

• PhD in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field
• Strong experimental skills in device design, fabrication, drug conjugation, and preclinical testing
• Experience working in multidisciplinary research environments
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and experimentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in English and strong scientific communication skills

• Expertise in device design and manufacturing
• Knowledge of neuroscience and physiological modulation methods
• Experience with preclinical models and laboratory experimentation
• Familiarity with biomedical engineering tools and fabrication techniques
• Strong documentation and research writing abilities
• Ability to support translational engineering workflows
