To support our future product development and research activities, we are looking to hire an AI (Artificial Intelligence)-Enabled Pharmaceutical R&D Officer

The selected candidate will work on pharmaceutical research and product development using AI-supported research methods, scientific literature, regulatory references, product studies, and market data. The role will focus on studying new product ideas, formulation possibilities, dosage forms, stability requirements, technical feasibility, and development pathways for future Medisal products.

This is a new and unique R&D-focused role for candidates who are interested in combining pharmaceutical science with AI-supported research.

• Conduct R&D research for new pharmaceutical products, especially IV solutions, injectables, sterile products, hospital products, emergency medicines, and critical care products.
• Use AI-supported research to study formulations, active ingredients, excipients, dosage forms, strengths, product compatibility, and development possibilities.
• Review scientific literature, pharmacopeial references, product monographs, regulatory guidelines, and technical data.
• Study product feasibility for manufacturing, secondary packaging, quality control testing, stability, and future registration.
• Prepare product development notes for management and technical teams.
• Support the regulatory, QA, QC, and production teams with research-based information for new products.
• Research comparable products available in UAE, GCC, Africa, and international markets.
• Prepare R&D product study reports covering product composition, dosage form, strength, technical requirements, testing requirements, stability needs, and development recommendation.
• Maintain a product R&D tracker for new, ongoing, and future development opportunities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly R&D research updates for management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical formulations, active ingredients, excipients, dosage forms, stability, and product development.
• Strong interest in AI-supported pharmaceutical research and R&D.
• Good knowledge of scientific research, Google Scholar, pharmacopeias, regulatory references, and online technical research.
• Good English writing and report preparation skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and research documentation.
• Ability to compare scientific and technical information from different sources and prepare clear reports.
• Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, formulation development, regulatory affairs, QA, QC, or production will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of sterile products, IV solutions, or injectable products will be an added advantage.
