To support these objectives, the company is seeking an experienced Research & Development Manager who can lead technical innovation while bringing new ideas from concept to commercialization.
The RoleThe Research & Development Manager will lead the organization’s research and development function, overseeing innovation projects, product development initiatives, and technical research activities. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will drive innovation while ensuring commercial viability and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement the organization's research and development strategy.
- Lead new product development from concept through commercialization.
- Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and project portfolios.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry innovations.
- Coordinate cross-functional product development teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
- Lead product testing, validation, and performance evaluation.
- Manage intellectual property and innovation initiatives.
- Build relationships with suppliers, research institutions, and technical partners.
- Develop and mentor R&D professionals.
- Present innovation strategies and project updates to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement across product development activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree is considered an advantage.
- 10+ years of R&D experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience managing innovation and product development projects.
- Strong project management and technical leadership capabilities.
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English is required.
