Position Summary
We offer a research associate position in the Department of Biology, College of Science, UAE University. The project focuses on elucidating the role of immune cells during skin reactions through genome-wide analysis. Candidates will characterize the genetic involvement of different immune cells, with a particular focus on molecular mechanisms.
Responsibilities- Conduct genome-wide analyses to identify genetic factors involved in skin reactions.
- Identify and characterize the genetic involvement of immune cells during skin reactions.
- Investigate molecular mechanisms underlying immune cell functions in skin reactions.
- Manage and analyze data from animal‑model studies.
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Immunology or a related field (MSc required).
- Strong background in bioinformatics.
- Experience with FACS, cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Willingness to work with animal models.
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Master’s or PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Immunology or a related field.
