Working under the supervision of Dr. Ozgur Sinanoglu, the successful candidate will contribute to hardware security and cybersecurity research by analyzing research problems, designing and implementing solutions, conducting technical testing, and preparing findings for academic publication and presentation.

The position requires a strong foundation in computer or electrical engineering together with analytical, programming, and hardware security expertise.

• Conduct advanced research in hardware security.
• Analyze technical research problems and identify suitable approaches.
• Design solutions to hardware security research challenges.
• Implement and test proposed solutions.
• Document research methods, findings, and results.
• Prepare research articles based on completed work.
• Present research results at conferences, workshops, and other academic forums.
• Contribute to publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Collaborate with external partners, including government entities and companies, on relevant research projects.
• Work independently on assigned research activities while contributing effectively within collaborative teams.

• BSc in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• MSc in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Candidates must have expertise in hardware security and excellent analytical, design, and coding skills.

• A graduate with a Master 's degree and less than five years of research experience in the relevant field; or
• A graduate with a Bachelor 's degree with any level of experience.

The successful candidate will join the Design for Excellence Lab and work directly with Dr. Ozgur Sinanoglu on hardware security research. The role combines technical investigation, implementation, experimental validation, academic writing, and collaboration with external research partners.
