Job DescriptionThe Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lounge restaurant, ensuring seamless service, exceptional guest experiences, and smooth coordination between front-of-house staff. This role includes supervising the service team, maintaining quality standards, resolving customer issues, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the lounge restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, motivate, and support the service team, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses.
- Oversee table assignments, reservations, and guest flow to maximize efficiency and experience.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training, and conduct regular feedback sessions.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for smooth service operations.
- Support in scheduling shifts and managing staff attendance.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling operating costs.
- Maintain inventory levels of restaurant supplies and coordinate replenishment when needed.
- Prepare daily reports on operations, guest feedback, and staff performance.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere in line with the lounge’s brand standards.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, lounge, or bar.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software is an advantage.
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The work location isYas Island, Abu Dhabi.
