Commis Chef​/Chef de Partie; CDP – Kitchen

Joud Coffee is a homegrown specialty coffee brand in Abu Dhabi. Our cafés are built around quality, consistency, and a great guest experience—breakfast is a core part of that.

We’re hiring Commis Chefs and Chef de Partie (CDP) for our Hot Kitchen (Breakfast). You’ll deliver fast, consistent, well‑presented breakfast dishes during busy service, and maintain strong prep, hygiene, and quality standards.

• Execute breakfast service at speed: eggs (all styles), omelettes, toasts, pancakes/French toast, grilled sandwiches, proteins, and hot components
• Prepare mise en place: prep, portioning, labeling, FIFO, and date coding
• Maintain consistency: follow recipes/specs, plating guides, and portion control
• Ensure food safety: temperature control, holding times, cleanliness, and HACCP basics
• Keep the station service‑ready: cleaning, restocking, and end‑of‑shift handover
• Communicate clearly with the team to keep tickets moving and guests happy
• Strong support on prep + service, learns specs quickly, keeps station clean and organized
• Follows instructions accurately and improves speed/consistency week by week
• Runs the breakfast/hot station independently during peak
• Trains/mentors commis, manages prep lists, reduces wastage, and maintains quality under pressure

• Comfortable with high‑volume service and fast ticket times
• Solid basic cooking skills + knife skills + cleanliness discipline
• Team player, reliable, and able to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays
• English communication (Arabic is a plus)
