We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi and work in our busy kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a wide variety of delicious pastries, cakes, cookies and other baked goods. You will also be required to manage the pastry section of the kitchen, including ordering supplies and ensuring that all necessary food safety and hygiene standards are met.

• Prepare a wide variety of pastries including cakes, cookies and other baked goods according to recipes
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and order supplies as required
• Ensure that all necessary food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Work with the head chef to develop new recipes
• Monitor the quality of all finished products before serving
• Supervise junior pastry chefs and train them in techniques used in pastry making
• Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with health regulations
• Decorate cakes for special orders or occasions as requested by customers.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
• Knowledgeable about all aspects of baking, from doughs to custards, pies to pastries
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Proven ability to follow instructions accurately as well as come up with creative ideas for new recipes
• Must have knowledge of food safety regulations
• A strong sense of customer service is essential
