Indian Chef in Abu Dhabi

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian cuisine, managing kitchen operations, and training junior staff members.

• Plan, prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes according to established recipes
• Ensure high quality and consistency of all food items prepared
• Manage inventory and stock control, ensuring proper ordering and rotation of ingredients
• Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques, hygiene standards, and recipe execution
• Monitor kitchen operations to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency
• Collaborate with management on menu planning, cost control, and special events
• Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine with the ability to create unique dishes while maintaining authenticity
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi is a plus)
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed

We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.

This position is based in Abu Dhabi. Candidates who are currently residing in the UAE or willing to relocate will be given preference.
