Requirements- Excellent baking skills and knowledge of ingredients, garnishes, presentation and flavor combinations.
- Experience working in professional kitchens.
- A passion for creating delicious desserts, cakes, pastries, gateaux and other desserts.
- Valid food safety certificate or equivalent.
- Creating new recipes and dishes.
- Preparing all types of desserts.
- Decorating cakes.
- Plating food items according to standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
- Following all safety guidelines.
- Coordinating with other staff members to ensure an efficient production process.
- Identifying any potential problems during production processes and taking steps to resolve them.
- Managing inventory levels.
- Ordering supplies as needed.
- Communicating orders clearly with other staff members.
- Ensuring quality control is maintained at all times.
