The Head Barista is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing daily coffee bar operations and ensuring excellent guest experiences. This role includes preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to high quality standards, managing food preparation related to the bar area, and maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization of equipment and workstations. The Head Barista leads and trains barista staff, coordinates workflow during busy periods, and supports inventory management, including ordering and tracking coffee, milk, and other supplies.

The role also involves handling customer inquiries and feedback, promoting menu items, and collaborating with management to improve service, product offerings, and operational efficiency.

• Candidates should possess strong barista skills, including espresso-based beverage preparation and general food preparation abilities.
• Candidates should possess outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and respectful environment for all guests.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
• Previous experience in a café or coffee shop environment, ideally in a supervisory or lead barista position.
• Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, stand for extended periods, and manage high-volume service calmly and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in handling cash and POS transactions.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory control; additional training or certification in hospitality or food service is an advantage.
