Merchandiser Supervisor
As a Merchandiser Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising team and ensuring that all products are properly displayed and promoted in retail stores. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop effective merchandising strategies, monitor inventory levels, and maintain relationships with vendors. Additionally, you will conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for product placement.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train merchandising team members
- Develop merchandising plans in collaboration with sales and marketing teams
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing and maintain relationships
- Oversee product placement in retail stores
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product placement
- Create visual displays that effectively promote products
- Ensure compliance with company standards and policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Previous experience in merchandising or retail management preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Salary: 1000$ per month.
