Merchandiser (Pakistani Nationals)

Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Merchandiser, your main responsibility will be to effectively manage the purchasing and display of products in our stores to attract and engage customers. We are specifically looking for Pakistani nationals who can communicate fluently in Urdu or other regional languages.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
- Source new products from suppliers and negotiate favorable deals
- Manage product inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Coordinate with store managers to create attractive product displays that align with company standards
- Train store staff on product knowledge and effective merchandising techniques
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly
- Analyze sales data to track product performance and make informed decisions for future orders
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for new products or special offers

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Fluency in Urdu or other regional languages is essential
- Knowledge of retail math, inventory management, and visual merchandising techniques
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires you to work 40 hours per week. As our stores are open seven days a week, you may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends. This position does not offer accommodation, so we are only considering candidates who already have a valid visa to work in the UAE.
