Role PurposeThe Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the day to day operations of a Wolfi’s store. This includes delivering an exceptional customer experience, maximizing sales and profitability, developing the in store team, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met. As a key leader on the ground, the Store Manager plays a pivotal role in bringing the Wolfi’s brand to life, building community connections, and inspiring a high performance, customer-first culture.
Responsibilities- Lead the store team to consistently exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and expert guidance.
- Promote a strong customer focused culture through coaching and recognition.
- Monitor daily sales performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue.
- Resolve customer queries and concerns efficiently by investigating issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Recruit, train, and lead a passionate and knowledgeable retail team.
- Conduct regular one on one check ins, performance reviews, and team meetings.
- Develop succession plans and identify growth opportunities for team members.
- Lead by example, championing Wolfi’s values and setting a high standard of professionalism.
- Ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy, and visual merchandising.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment at all times.
- Track product demand and maintain awareness of sales trends and inventory requirements.
- Manage schedules, rosters, and timekeeping to optimize coverage and performance.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit sales and performance reports to management.
- Represent Wolfi’s in the local cycling and triathlon community.
- Support store led events and activations to increase customer engagement.
- Promote a welcoming, inclusive space for all levels of cyclists and athletes.
- 4–6 years of experience in retail, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to drive sales and lead high performing teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory, and visual standards.
- Interest in cycling, triathlon, fitness and understanding of premium cycling products.
- Proficient in POS systems, retail software, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
