Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Butcher role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Butcher will be responsible for cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning various meats, poultry, and seafood according to company standards and customer requests. Daily tasks include operating and maintaining meat-cutting equipment, preparing display cases, labeling and pricing products, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of stock.

The role also involves monitoring product quality, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, and minimizing waste through careful handling and processing. The Butcher will interact with customers, answer product-related questions, take special orders, and support the store team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Strong butchery skills, including cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning various cuts of meat.
• Hands-on experience with meat preparation, handling, and safe storage.
• Knowledge of seafood handling, cleaning, filleting, and display standards.
• Experience in handling and operating (Band Saw Machine, Meat Grinder Machine, Meat Slicer Machine).
• Background in meat processing, including grinding, marinating, packaging, and product rotation.
• Customer service skills, with the ability to take orders, provide recommendations, and handle inquiries professionally.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and safe use of knives and meat-cutting equipment.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods, lift and move meat products, and perform tasks in cold environments.
• Previous experience as a butcher or in a meat department, preferably in a supermarket or specialty store.
• Basic numeracy and labeling skills for weighing, pricing, and inventory control.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
