As a Floral Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the florist in creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions. Your main duties will include preparing flowers, cleaning and maintaining work areas, delivering arrangements to customers, and providing excellent customer service. This is a part-time position with flexible hours making it ideal for students or those seeking additional income.
Responsibilities- Assisting the florist in creating and designing floral arrangements.
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas to ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
- Preparing flowers by trimming stems and removing leaves.
- Packaging and delivering arrangements to customers in a timely manner.
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and taking orders.
- Assisting with inventory management to ensure an adequate supply of flowers.
- Communicating any customer feedback or concerns to the florist.
- Previous experience working with flowers is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work with hands for extended periods.
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
