Store Manager

Overview of the RoleThe Store Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of the store, driving strategic decision‑making to ensure the store meets its sales, customer service, and operational goals. The role blends leadership with hands‑on management to maintain high store performance, compliance with company policies, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Store Sales and Profit: develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and profitability goals, monitor daily and weekly sales performance, adjust strategies based on customer demand, competitor activity and market trends, maximise sales opportunities through product placement, promotions and upselling techniques, and ensure efficient inventory management.
- Develop a Strong and Engaged Team: lead, motivate and coach a high‑performing store team; recruit, train and onboard new members; conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, recognition and professional development opportunities; identify and develop high‑potential staff for future leadership roles.
- Deliver High Level of Customer Service: set a high standard of service, address complaints promptly, maintain a welcoming and customer‑friendly environment, implement customer feedback mechanisms and continuously improve service quality.
- Drive Operational & Service Excellence: oversee day‑to‑day store operations, including stock replenishment, cash handling and store maintenance; ensure all operational processes are in place, from inventory management to health and safety procedures; train the team on best practices and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Deliver Excellent Visual Standards: ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards, keep displays clean, attractive and aligned with brand guidelines, and collaborate with the visual merchandising team to reflect seasonal trends, promotions and sales targets.
