Cashier (Indian) - Bani Yas City, UAE

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Indian Cashier to join our team at our store in Bani Yas City, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

• Greet customers with a warm and welcoming smile
• Scan items and enter prices using the cash register
• Accept payments from customers in the form of cash, credit or debit cards, or other methods
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or concerns they may have
• Promote store loyalty programs and special offers to customers
• Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when stock is low

• Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills with the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
• Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers, scanners, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

• Indian nationality is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working as a Cashier in the retail industry
• Ability to speak Hindi or other Indian languages is an asset
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
