Part-Time Cashier (Indian Nationals Preferred)
We are a busy retail store located in Abu Dhabi and we are currently seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join our team. This is an urgent position and we are looking for candidates who are available to start immediately.
As a Part-Time Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and accurately processing transactions at the cash register. You will handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, issue receipts, and ensure that all transactions are completed in a timely manner.
This position is suitable for Indian nationals who are looking for part-time work without any prior experience. We welcome candidates who have their own visa as this is a part-time position and we will not be able to provide visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any inquiries or concerns
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers or electronic scanners
- Collect payment from customers in the form of cash, credit or debit cards
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions
- Ensure that the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service
- Indian nationality preferred
- Must have own visa
- Available to work part-time hours including weekends
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately
Prior cashier experience is not required
