Cashier

A reputable retail store in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with a warm welcome
• Scan and bag items for customers at the checkout counter
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system
• Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to answer customer inquiries
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier in a retail environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in using a POS system
• Attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Fluency in English is required

This is a contract position with competitive salary of 1700$. We do not provide accommodation but visa sponsorship can be arranged for the right candidate.
