Overview Of

The Role:

• The Sales Assistant is a key role in our retail team, primarily responsible for driving sales and ensuring a positive and engaging customer experience. The role involves a mix of front-line customer service and behind-the-scenes operational tasks. Sales Assistants must maintain a pristine store environment, uphold visual presentation standards, and perform duties assigned by the store management team. Success in this role requires a proactive and energetic approach to building relationships with customers and delivering exemplary service.

What You Will Do:

• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business like greeting.
• Provide customers with current, relevant information about the product.
• Offer gift cards and capture customer information in the database for future sales opportunities.

• Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Provides quality service in fitting rooms and assists customers promptly.
• Maintains cash wrap cleanliness and attempts to add on to the sale.

• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap ensuring all customer needs are met.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using CAD packages like AutoCAD or Sketchup.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized store environment.

What Qualifies You For

The Role:

• High School Degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, or Photoshop to create visuals.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability for some heavy lifting and standing for a minimum of 8 hours.
