Role Description The Sales Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, the Sales Assistant supports customers on the sales floor, offering product information, styling guidance, and assistance with fitting and selection. Key daily tasks include welcoming customers, processing transactions, handling exchanges and returns, and maintaining visual merchandising and store cleanliness. The Sales Assistant also helps monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and coordinate with the team on in-store promotions and brand launches.
This role requires active participation in creating a welcoming environment and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to engage with diverse customers and build positive relationships.
- Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to listen, explain product features, and respond to customer needs.
- Sales skills, including product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling, to support store revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Solid organization skills for managing tasks, maintaining store presentation, and handling inventory efficiently.
- Experience in retail, fashion, or streetwear environments is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and collaborate in a fast-paced team setting.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus.
