Job Description
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of turnkey water and wastewater treatment solutions, focusing on key sectors within the MENA region. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in technical sales, industry knowledge, and hands‑on experience working across the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in industrial, municipal/govt, oil & gas, and hospitality sectors.
- Understand and address specific water treatment needs for each client.
Offer technical expertise and consultation to clients during solution development.
Recommend products and systems tailored to clients’ technical requirements.
Proposal & Estimation SupportCollaborate with estimation and proposal teams by providing detailed technical input, client budgets, cost breakdowns, competitor information, target prices, and timeline expectations.
Market & Competitor Analysis- Stay updated on market trends, technologies, and competitor offerings within the MENA region.
- Identify emerging opportunities and provide strategic input.
- Work closely with proposal, engineering, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Align cross‑functional efforts to maximize client satisfaction.
- Provide end‑to‑end client support — from pre‑sales to post‑installation follow‑up.
- Address technical queries and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical / Chemical or Business Administration
- Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE and MENA region
- MENA experience is mandatory.
- At least 3 years working as a Sales Engineer in a similar business or industry.
- Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
- HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- In‑depth knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies, and equipment’s.
- Strong understanding of the industrial, O&G, Municipal / Government, Hospitality sector in the UAE.
- Excellent industry knowledge of Water Technology Projects, Principles, Customers & Clients.
- Excellent knowledge of Water Technology solutions and technical aspects.
- Business acumen and commercial understanding of work and processes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other colleagues, customers, clients and other stakeholders.
- Excellent personality with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and CRM software.
