Product Sales Manager – Paper Machine Clothing

Valmet, a global leader in process technologies for the pulp, paper and energy industries, is seeking an experienced Product Sales Manager to strengthen its global Paper Machine Clothing (PMC) fabrics unit. The role is based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and reports to the Fabrics Director within the EMEA Packaging and Paper Services Sales team.

• Promote and sell PMC products and services, providing technical sales support.
• Pursue sales leads and visit existing and new customers to meet sales target levels.
• Negotiate prices and delivery times within authority limits; conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
• Identify, research, and contact prospective customers, building positive relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
• Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization to respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.

• Technical knowledge of paper‑making process and industrial fabrics.
• Proven track record of strong customer service and/or sales and/or account management skills, preferably in a mill environment.
• BSc/MSc in engineering (Chemical, Production, Industrial Management) or similar.
• 4–7 years' experience in sales and service, preferably in a multinational context.
• Native Arabic and good command of English.
• Availability to travel (mainly domestic).
• Knowledge of MSO.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A spirit of initiative, dynamism and teamwork.
