Mac Gregor Black is partnering with a leading premium beverage distributor on the search for a Key Account Manager – specialising in Wine, to join their commercial team in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to represent an extensive portfolio of internationally recognised wines and premium beverages across one of the Middle East's most dynamic hospitality markets.
Working with leading hotels, restaurants, bars and hospitality groups, you'll combine strong commercial account management with genuine wine expertise to grow distribution, secure listings and develop long‑term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of premium On-Trade accounts across Abu Dhabi
- Build strong commercial relationships with sommeliers, F&B leaders, beverage managers, buyers and hospitality operators
- Drive wine distribution, listings, volume, revenue and market share across key customers
- Develop individual customer plans and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Negotiate trading terms, commercial agreements and promotional activity
- Secure new listings and maximise opportunities around new product launches
- Deliver wine tastings, customer presentations and product education where required
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Abu Dhabi On-Trade
- Work closely with Wine, Marketing and wider Commercial teams to deliver activations and customer programmes
- Analyse account performance, sales trends and distribution gaps to identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain a strong presence within the trade through regular customer visits, events and relationship building
- Minimum 3 years' commercial sales experience within the On-Trade
- Strong experience working with wine, ideally within a distributor, producer, importer or premium drinks business
- WSET Level 3 or above highly preferred, with WSET Level 2 considered the minimum requirement
- Strong knowledge of wine styles, regions, producers and the premium hospitality environment
- Proven experience managing and commercially developing key customer accounts
- Confident negotiating listings, commercial terms and customer plans
- Able to engage credibly with sommeliers, beverage professionals and senior hospitality decision-makers
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills
- Commercially driven with a genuine passion for selling and delivering growth
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Currently based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate to the region
- Tax-free monthly salary up to AED 21,000, dependent on experience
