Sales Engineer Oil & Gas​/Industrial Equipment

Peak Energy Solutions is an Abu Dhabi-based commercial agency representing international manufacturers across the oil & gas, power, water, utilities and industrial sectors.

We provide engineered products and technical solutions to operators, EPC contractors, oilfield service companies, utilities and industrial customers across the UAE.

We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on outside sales, customer development and technical business development across the UAE.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business, promoting our product portfolio, building customer relationships and identifying sales opportunities.

The role requires regular customer visits, active prospecting and consistent follow-up of opportunities. We are looking for someone who is comfortable approaching new customers and developing business rather than relying only on incoming inquiries.

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across the UAE.
• Conduct regular customer visits and develop relationships with engineers, buyers, procurement teams and other key contacts.
• Promote pumps, valves, instrumentation, oilfield equipment and other industrial products represented by the company.
• Identify potential customers and applications for our products and manufacturers.
• Follow up customer inquiries, RFQs, quotations and ongoing opportunities through to closure.
• Review RFQs, specifications and technical requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations in coordination with manufacturers.
• Coordinate with international manufacturers regarding pricing, technical clarifications, documentation and delivery requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify customers, projects, competitors and new opportunities.
• Support product presentations, technical meetings and customer demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, opportunities, quotations and follow-up activities.
• Work toward assigned sales and business development targets.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in technical sales or business development is preferred.
• Experience selling or promoting pumps, valves, instrumentation, oil & gas equipment, mechanical equipment or other industrial products is preferred.
• UAE oil & gas or industrial market exposure is preferred.
• Exposure to ADNOC, EPC contractors, oilfield service companies, utilities or industrial customers is an advantage.
• Strong interest in outside sales and developing new customer relationships.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand technical products, specifications and customer requirements.
• Proactive and disciplined in prospecting and customer follow-up.
• Comfortable making calls, approaching new customers and conducting regular customer visits.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• UAE driving licence is strongly preferred. Candidates currently completing their UAE driving licence may also be considered.

This is not primarily a desk-based quotation role. Regular customer interaction, prospecting and field visits are an important part of the position.
