We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sales Executive – Lubricant Oil Additives to generate new business and develop assigned in-house accounts.
The role focuses on the B2B sales of lubricant oil additives, raw materials, and specialty chemical products to companies, while supporting the Business Development Manager.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, understanding their product requirements and buying requirements, presenting the relevant product range, coordinating samples and trials, preparing quotations, converting opportunities into orders, and developing long-term customer relationships.
Product / Industry Focus:
The role involves B2B sales of products within areas such as:
- Lubricant oil additives
- Lubricant raw materials
- Specialty chemicals
- Base oils and related products
- Make daily cold calls and prospect through email, professional networks, and referrals to reach relevant buyers.
- Research target companies, build prospect lists, and qualify product needs, volumes, buying timelines, and decision-makers.
- Present the product range, arrange sales meetings, and coordinate technical discussions, samples, and trials.
- Prepare quotations within approved pricing and margin limits.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate within authority, and convert opportunities into orders.
- Grow assigned in-house accounts through regular contact, repeat orders, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Reactivate dormant customers and identify opportunities for renewed business.
- Coordinate orders, stock availability, deliveries, and payment follow-up with Operations, Logistics, and Finance.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Provide weekly pipeline, sales forecast, and competitor updates.
- Support the Business Development Manager in developing new business and customer accounts.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated experience in cold calling, lead generation, and converting prospects into paying customers.
- Experience managing and growing existing customer accounts.
- Experience with in chemicals, lubricant additives, base oils, specialty chemicals, or industrial distribution is preferred.
- Experience selling lubricant additives, raw materials, or specialty chemical products to companies would be highly relevant.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent relevant sales experience.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Strong telephone communication, negotiation, and disciplined follow-up skills.
- Additional languages would be an advantage.
- Proficient in CRM, Excel, and quotation preparation.
- Commercial understanding of margins, payment terms, and order coordination.
- Proactive, resilient, and target-driven approach.
- Ability to learn technical products and work with customers across different time zones.
