Institutional Sales Officer
Independently identify and approach strong new institutional customers strong through market research cold calling networking referrals customer visits and other business development activities
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and continuously generate new sales opportunities
Identify potential customers among strong schools educational institutions government entities corporate companies hospitals hotels restaurants catering companies facilities management companies and other institutional customers strong
Arrange meetings with purchasing managers procurement teams business owners and other key decision-makers
Introduce the company s products and services and understand customer requirements
Follow up regularly with prospects and convert opportunities into confirmed orders
Sales & Business DevelopmentAchieve assigned strong monthly quarterly and annual sales targets strong
Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries quotations tenders and customer requirements
Negotiate with customers within approved company pricing and commercial guidelines
Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and increase sales with existing customers
Develop new territories customer segments and business opportunities
Customer Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and identify new business opportunities
- Follow up on orders deliveries payments and customer concerns in coordination with the relevant internal departments
- Maintain regular communication with customers to encourage repeat business and long‑term relationships
- Monitor market conditions customer requirements competitor activities and pricing
- Identify new products customer segments and market opportunities
- Provide management with feedback on customer requirements market trends competitor pricing and business opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits enquiries quotations prospects and sales activities
- Submit regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide realistic sales forecasts
- Coordinate with strong Finance Procurement Warehouse Logistics and Operations strong to ensure smooth order execution and customer service
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant sales/business development experience, preferably in B2B, institutional sales, FMCG, food service, disposable packaging, or related industries.
- Proven ability to find and develop new customers independently.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow‑up skills.
- Target‑oriented, self‑motivated, and willing to conduct regular customer visits.
- Good knowledge of the UAE market and institutional customer segments.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
- Good command of English additional languages are an advantage.
