Business Development Manager - GCC IT Technology Services

Apt Resources is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading Technology Services Company in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across the GCC, meeting potential clients and senior decision-makers, building strong business relationships, and generating qualified sales opportunities for technology and business solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop territory plans for UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar, including target sectors and priority accounts.
- Identify and approach potential clients through face-to-face visits, professional networks, referrals, and follow-up meetings.
- Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across technology, finance, and operations.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, chambers of commerce, business councils, and executive forums.
- Conduct initial discovery meetings to understand business challenges, stakeholders, budgets, and requirements.
- Identify and position suitable services, including technology services, AI and automation, and BPO solutions.
- Work with solution architects to develop and qualify business opportunities.
- Handover qualified opportunities to the Business Development team and support them during proposals and negotiations.
- Develop referral relationships with technology partners, systems integrators, audit and advisory firms, and business setup consultants.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and log all visits and meetings on the same day.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline development, market feedback, and competitor activity.
- Coach and accompany Field Sales Development Representatives as the team grows.
- 6-10 years of experience in B2B field sales or business development.
- At least 4 years of experience selling technology services, IT outsourcing, BPO, consulting, or staffing services.
- Minimum 3 years of GCC experience.
- Established network of senior technology, finance, and operations decision-makers in the GCC.
- Proven track record of opening accounts through face-to-face prospecting and relationship building.
- Experience selling into Saudi Arabia, with knowledge of procurement and vendor registration processes.
- Proven experience generating opportunities that converted into multi-year or recurring-revenue contracts.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- Fluent written and spoken English preferably in Arabic as well.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with executive-level clients.
- Must be currently in UAE
