Senior Sales Team Leader Tile & Building Materials
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Team Leader with strong knowledge of the Oman market and the building materials construction chemicals and tiling products industry The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Oman with proven experience managing an outdoor sales team and achieving sales targets The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 4 outdoor retail sales professionals monitoring sales performance managing customer orders supporting sales operations and developing strong relationships with customers and retailers Experience in tile grout tile adhesives waterproofing products flooring materials tiling products and construction chemicals is highly preferred The successful candidate should have strong sales management team leadership customer relationship management order management and business development skills
Job Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 4 outdoor retail sales persons and ensure achievement of individual and team sales targets
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies for the Oman market to increase revenue and market share
- Monitor daily weekly and monthly sales performance and provide regular reports to management
- Review individual salesperson performance and provide guidance coaching and support to improve results
- Manage and follow up on customer orders quotations deliveries payments and order-related issues
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with retailers distributors contractors dealers and other business customers
- Identify new customers and business opportunities within the Oman building materials market
- Promote and sell tile grout tile adhesives waterproofing products flooring products tiling materials and related construction products
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales operations order processing stock availability and delivery
- Monitor market trends competitor activities pricing and customer requirements in the Oman market
- Conduct regular market visits with the sales team and monitor customer coverage and sales activities
- Support the team in achieving sales targets through effective sales planning and territory management
- Handle key customer requirements complaints negotiations and escalations professionally
- Prepare sales forecasts sales reports customer reports and other sales management reports
- Ensure proper follow-up on outstanding customer orders and coordinate with operations for timely delivery
- Work closely with management to develop strategies for business development and market expansion in Oman
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information and ensure effective sales pipeline management
