Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Guest Relations Department, the Boutique Sales Agent is responsible for, but not limited to assist in-house guests and customers in finding the required products in our retail shop, perform Point of Sales activities including purchasing the required products. In addition, the boutique sales agent will assist in Guest Relations administration duties including but not limited to searching for guest information, ordering amenities and guest recognition reporting.

The Boutiques Sales Agent reports to the Guest Relations Manager.

• Ensure a warm friendly welcome to all guests at all times.
• Recommend, select and help locate the right products.
• Be able to describe a product's features and benefits.
• Demonstrate the use and operation of the product.
• Able to answer customers queries regarding the shop and the merchandise.
• Make suggestions and encourage purchase of products.
• Receive and process cash, and credit card payments.
• Gift wrap merchandise.
• Maintain sales records.
• Organize and process merchandise exchanges.
• Stay up to date with sales prices.
• Recognize and monitor security issues.
• Arrange and display merchandise.
• Keep merchandise area tidy.
• Prepare monthly inventory.
• Must attend all training courses as deemed necessary.
• Recognize the importance of "sales" in every aspect of their role and be responsible for achieving set sales targets.
• Ability to perform opening and closing duties.
• Strong research skills to identify guest profiles and preferences.
• Allocation and ordering of amenities for hotel guest in line with the guest relations guidelines.
• Assists guest relations department with emails and follows ups.
• It is part of your role to understand and comply with all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
• MOHG Code of Conduct requires that all business activities and business decisions comply with the general law, with all rules, regulations, and other requirements.
• It is part of your role and your responsibility to fully support all learning and development activities.
• Ensure that all standards of LQE and Forbes are followed consistently.
