Head of Sales & Institutional Coverage, Digital Bank

Our client is a new digital bank building its presence in the Middle East, offering transaction banking and digital asset payment capabilities to corporate and institutional clients.

This is a pioneering leadership role with the opportunity to shape the commercial strategy, build key relationships and grow the franchise from an early stage. It suits an entrepreneurial banker who combines strategic thinking with a practical, solutions-oriented approach. This role is based in Abu Dhabi.

• Develop and execute the sales and client coverage strategy across the Middle East
• Build relationships with corporates, sovereign entities and family offices
• Originate opportunities through an established network, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
• Understand clients’ treasury, transaction banking and payment needs and develop tailored solutions
• Partner with product and execution teams to deliver solutions through the bank’s platform
• Build a strong commercial pipeline and convert opportunities into lasting client relationships
• Shape the coverage model and build the sales team as the business grows

• Senior sales or institutional coverage experience within banking, transaction banking, payments or a related financial services business
• Strong, established client networks in the Middle East, particularly Abu Dhabi and Dubai, are essential
• Proven ability to originate and win business with corporates, sovereign entities or family offices
• Strong understanding of transaction banking and payment solutions; exposure to digital assets would be an advantage
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to turn strategy into commercial execution
• Comfortable building a business in a start-up environment and taking hands-on ownership
