Senior Electrical Sales Engineer - Electrical & Switchgear
Element is hiring for a client seeking a commercially driven Senior Electrical Sales Engineer to develop business, manage key accounts and drive sales of electrical products within the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have experience in the MEP construction sector, strong technical knowledge of electrical products and established relationships with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales of electrical products, including power cables, wires, switch gear, electrical components and related accessories.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with MEP contractors, electrical contractors, consultants, developers and end users.
- Identify upcoming construction projects, track tenders and generate sales opportunities through proactive market development.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical submittals, tenders and commercial proposals.
- Understand client requirements, recommend suitable electrical products and coordinate with technical and procurement teams.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve sales targets and profitability.
- Manage key accounts, maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads and outstanding quotations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify opportunities for business growth.
- 5–7+ years of experience in electrical sales, preferably within the MEP construction or electrical trading industry.
- Good technical knowledge of electrical products, particularly cables, switch gear, circuit breakers and electrical distribution components.
- Established network of MEP contractors, electrical contractors, consultants and project clients in the UAE.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new accounts.
- Experience handling project-based sales, tenders, quotations and commercial negotiations.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- UAE driving licence preferred.
A senior sales professional who combines strong electrical product knowledge with proven business development capabilities and can independently manage client relationships, identify project opportunities and drive revenue growth in Abu Dhabi.
