Senior Intelligence Analyst
Overview
Prevail delivers high quality intelligence, research and consultancy services to clients ranging from governments and multinational corporations to non-governmental organisations. These services are delivered predominantly across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
You will join a newly formed multi-disciplinary team in Abu Dhabi.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThe role involves the analysis of threat actors, risks and issues using advanced open-source intelligence (OSINT) feeds and the development of strategic products. You will be expected to build innovative products to drive commercial projects, present intelligence at routine meetings and provide advice to the Management Team and external partners. You will be working to a Manager and, in future, be expected to manage a small team of former military and private sector intelligence professionals.
The ideal candidate will have good working experience of information databases, OSINT platforms and must be able to adapt to dynamic priorities and tasking by the Manager. You will use cutting edge open-source intelligence platforms and media analysis tools to deliver excellence to our customers.
- Strong grasp of current affairs and National Security, with a particular focus on the MENA region.
- Ability to manage a small team of intelligence experts.
- Experienced in open-source research and intelligence gathering techniques, particularly where access to or availability of official/privileged sources is limited.
- Formal intelligence analysis training.
- At least 3 years delivering intelligence in a commercial setting.
- Strong IT literacy including MS Office Suite.
- Experience working in a military intelligence, law enforcement, Government, or private intelligence environment.
- Experience contributing to law enforcement investigations, knowledge of the evidential chain and where intelligence can be converted to evidence.
- Experience of intelligence assessment and articulating uncertainty to customers.
- Experience of project or change management.
- Experience of analysing large data sets.
- Work with peers, maintain oversight of tasks and support the delivery of high-quality intelligence products.
- Maintain databases and services across the intelligence team.
- Quality control formal reports or presentations, with attention to detail.
- Work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating motivation, initiative, and focus.
- Liaise and engage with law enforcement professionals and senior representatives and act as an ambassador for the intelligence team.
- Manage a small team of intelligence professionals.
- Ensure project requirements are met, supporting an innovative and driven team.
- Provide daily updates to the Intelligence Manager and be responsive to shifting priorities.
- Able to commute to client offices, predominantly in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
- You may occasionally be asked to respond at short notice or outside of core hours.
- On occasions analysts may be required to travel throughout the GCC, UK and wider regions.
