Supervisor – Security Operations

Job Description

Supervisor – Security Operations is responsible for coordinating and overseeing day‑to‑day security operations on shift, ensuring approved security procedures, post orders, and emergency protocols are implemented effectively. It involves maintaining accurate, timely responses, and compliant recording, consolidation, and reporting of security incidents, observations, and operational activities across Nishan operations.

The role supports incident response, audits, security assessments, Security Plans, and Group Security Action Plans by ensuring all security‑related information is properly documented, tracked, reported within defined time frames, and maintained in a manner that supports operational oversight, assurance, and compliance. It acts as the operational lead during shifts, providing guidance, coordination, compliance monitoring, and escalation to management and IC&CC. The role requires flexibility to support continuous 24/7 operations.

• Coordinate daily security operations across assigned sites and shifts in line with approved SOPs and post orders.
• Provide on‑shift functional supervision and operational guidance to security officers and contracted security personnel.
• Ensure incident response and escalation is carried out promptly and that incidents are reported within defined time frames.
• Act as the first operational coordination point during incidents until escalation to IC&CC and the Manager.
• Coordinate with IC&CC, Operational Control, and emergency responders during incidents and drills.
• Conduct routine site inspections and operational checks to identify risks, gaps, and non‑compliance.
• Participate in preparation, review, and implementation of Security Plans and Security Assessments, providing site‑level inputs and risk observations.
• Implement Group Security Action Plans within the assigned area and track execution of assigned actions.
• Participate, coordinate, and organize security drills and exercises as required and support post‑drill evaluations.
• Deliver and organise toolbox talks for contracted security personnel, covering operational updates, incidents, risks, and safety topics.
• Ensure post orders are kept up to date, communicated, and implemented by contracted security personnel.
• Engage in security operations meetings, providing operational updates, risks, and action‑status reports.
• Participate in audits and inspections and ensure close‑out of observations and corrective actions within the assigned area.
• Ensure continuity of operations through proper shift handovers.
• Monitor operational performance and report issues to the Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security‑related operational information.
• Work on a rotational shift basis to ensure 24/7 operational coverage.

Educational and Technical

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• ISPS knowledge & national security requirements.

Language

Skills:

• Very Good in Arabic (Speak, Read and write)
• Very Good in English (Speak, Read and write)

Years of

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-4 Years of Experience with in the same role or Similar.

Nature of

Experience:

• Security operations, planning, assessment, emergency response
• Experience in supervising security operations
• Hands‑on experience in CCTV monitoring, access control systems, incident handling, emergency response, and security team coordination.
• Experience in preparing incident reports, conducting investigations, and implementing security procedures.
