Senior Specialist – FM Corporate Risk & Security
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a portfolio-wide risk framework covering security risks, operational disruptions, asset protection and reputational exposure. Maintain and update FM risk registers and heat maps, providing structured insights and recommendations to senior management. Govern and enforce security manpower deployment standards, reviewing and approving vendor schedules, coverage levels and shift structures. Audit security service providers, performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, deployment plans and operational standards.
Oversee CCTV and electronic security systems governance across all assets, including coverage, performance, compliance and system reliability. Review and approve CCTV upgrades, coverage changes and system enhancements based on risk exposure and operational requirements. Ensure proper governance of CCTV access, footage handling and compliance with legal and authority requirements. Act as the FM security focal point during incidents, ensuring structured response, escalation and coordination with authorities.
Lead incident reviews, define corrective actions and ensure proper closure and risk mitigation. Coordinate FM inputs into business continuity and crisis management frameworks, including tabletop exercises and scenario planning. Lead crisis preparedness initiatives, including simulations, after-action reporting and improvement tracking. Drive loss prevention strategies addressing risks related to theft, vandalism, unauthorized access and asset misuse. Prepare executive-level dashboards and reports on risk exposure, security performance, incidents and compliance metrics.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders – FM, Compliance, Operations – and external entities – police, authorities, vendors – on security matters.
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, or a related field. 8–10 years of experience in security governance, corporate risk, or similar roles within FM, real estate, or retail environments. Strong experience managing security vendors and governing deployment across multiple assets. Deep understanding of CCTV and electronic security systems, including standards, audits and compliance. Familiarity with UAE security regulations (SIRA, MCC) and authority requirements.
Proven experience handling security incidents, crisis response and coordination with authorities. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk, build frameworks and present insights at a senior level. Experience in business continuity planning, crisis simulations and operational risk management. Strong reporting and presentation skills, capable of producing executive-level dashboards and insights. High level of integrity, confidentiality and decision-making under pressure.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across internal teams and external partners.
