Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, servers, hardware, and software.
- Manage and optimize enterprise‑grade LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
- Configure L2 / L3 switching, VLANs, Inter‑VLAN routing, and Spanning Tree protocols.
- Implement and maintain next‑generation firewalls (NGFW), VPN gateways, IPsec, SSL, and Network Access Control (NAC) to ensure institutional data integrity and compliance.
- Manage and monitor on‑premises and cloud‑based server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.
- Oversee campus‑wide Wi‑Fi performance, heat mapping, and secure guest/faculty authentication (802.1X, RADIUS).
- Implement and utilize SNMP‑based monitoring tools to analyze, identify, and manage bottlenecks and capacity planning for future campus expansion.
- Provide support and configuration for campus integrated audio‑visual systems.
- Maintain robust backup schedules and contribute to the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 60% marks and consistently good academic record.
- CCNA or equivalent certification.
- Other certification in relevant IT and AV technologies.
