Security Officer

Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) is seeking a Security Officer to support the oversight and management of security operations across the organization. The role is responsible for protecting personnel, facilities, and assets by enforcing security procedures, monitoring access, conducting patrols and inspections, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with GCAA regulations and ADA's security policies and procedures.

• Support in the day-to-day operations and administration of the Security Department
• Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
• Coordinate with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable security requirements
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections of company facilities, equipment, and restricted areas to maintain a secure environment
• Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment to identify, report, and respond to suspicious activities or security breaches
• Perform security risk assessments and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures to address identified risks
• Ensure that access to company premises and restricted areas is granted only to authorized personnel in accordance with established procedures
• Investigate security incidents and prepare accurate reports, ensuring that all incidents are properly documented and communicated to management
• Monitor compliance with company security procedures, including employee attendance, visitor management, and access control requirements
• Conduct security awareness briefings and training sessions to promote security compliance among employees
• Coordinate with internal departments to address security-related requirements and support operational activities
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and other situations requiring immediate attention
• Monitor and control vehicle and pedestrian movement within company premises to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets
• Inspect and maintain records related to physical security systems, ensuring that any discrepancies are reported for corrective action
• Stay updated on developments in security practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements to support continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all applicable security regulations
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Management, as required by operational needs

• A High School Diploma is required
• A certification in Conflict Management or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Security Officer or Security Guard role is required.
• Sound knowledge of security regulations, legal guidelines, and public safety practices is essential
• Experience with in the aviation industry will be considered an added advantage
• Familiarity with company operational procedures and security protocols is desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Good conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of the Arabic language will be considered an advantage.
