VVIP Male Bodyguard ​/ Close Protection Officer | UAE

We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious VVIP client in Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a highly skilled, physically exceptional, and professionally trained Male Bodyguard / Close Protection Officer to provide discreet, elite-level personal protection to a VVIP client and their family.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional close protection, exceptional physical fitness, advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills, and the ability to operate calmly and professionally in high-profile environments.

This is a full-time close protection position focused on ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of the client and their family.

You will be expected to maintain a high level of situational awareness, discretion, professionalism, and readiness while operating across a variety of environments. The successful candidate must be capable of assessing potential risks, responding appropriately to incidents, and working effectively as part of a professional security team.

• Provide discreet and professional close protection to the client and family members at all times
• Maintain constant awareness of the surrounding environment and identify potential security risks
• Conduct proactive risk assessments and threat identification
• Carry out surveillance and security checks of environments and locations
• Secure and sweep locations prior to the client's arrival
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and security incidents
• Provide first aid and coordinate with emergency services when required
• Conduct vehicle security checks and support secure transportation arrangements
• Monitor and operate relevant security and communication equipment
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, movements, activities, and personal matters
• Prepare security updates and reports as required
• Work closely with the wider security team and follow established protocols and instructions
• Maintain exceptional standards of professionalism, discretion, appearance, and conduct at all times

• Minimum 3 years' professional experience as a Bodyguard, Close Protection Officer, or similar security professional
• Expert-level proficiency in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with substantial practical experience
• Recognised close protection, personal security, or security qualification/certification
• Valid first aid certification and strong understanding of emergency response procedures
• Exceptional physical fitness, strength, stamina, and overall conditioning
• Strong practical self-defence skills; additional martial arts experience is highly advantageous
• Excellent observation, awareness, and threat-assessment abilities
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive under pressure
• Conversational English with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, discipline, and professionalism
• Previous experience working with VVIP, VIP, UHNW, or high-profile clients is highly advantageous
