Job Description

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations and maintaining a safe, secure, discreet, and professional environment within an exclusive luxury destination.

The role involves supervising security personnel, protecting guests, employees, visitors, assets, facilities, and confidential information, and working closely with all operational departments to uphold the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team.
  • Prepare duty schedules, assign posts, and manage patrol and access-control responsibilities.
  • Maintain a professional, discreet, and service-oriented security presence.
  • Monitor access to the premises and verify guests, employees, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, operational areas, offices, service zones, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and restricted locations.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarms, communication systems, access-control systems, and other security equipment.
  • Protect people, buildings, vehicles, equipment, valuables, and confidential information.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, disturbances, suspicious activity, accidents, medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
  • Coordinate with emergency services and relevant authorities when required.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, shift handover notes, occurrence books, and security records.
  • Support emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, fire-safety protocols, and business-continuity plans.
  • Assist with security arrangements for private functions, VIP visits, deliveries, and special events.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify risks and maintain smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with Engineering on lighting, alarms, locks, access-control systems, surveillance equipment, and safety-related matters.
  • Support the secure handling of deliveries, cash movements, valuable items, keys, vehicles, and departmental assets.
  • Enforce security policies, procedures, standards, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensure all security personnel maintain excellent grooming, conduct, punctuality, alertness, and professionalism.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members in emergency response, communication, conflict management, patrol procedures, and report writing.
  • Investigate security-related complaints, losses, policy violations, and incidents, escalating matters appropriately.
  • Maintain professional relationships with guests, employees, contractors, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Promote a culture of safety, discretion, respect, and service throughout the organization.
Desired Skill & Expertise
  • Previous experience in a supervisory security role within a luxury, exclusive, private, corporate, lifestyle, or high-end operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of access control, patrol procedures, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and emergency protocols.
  • Experience supervising, scheduling, training, and developing security personnel.
  • First aid, CPR, fire-safety, or other relevant security certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, observation, decision-making, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, discreet, and professional under pressure.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to conduct extended patrols across indoor and outdoor areas.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overnight duties when required.
  • Valid security license or local regulatory certification, where applicable.
