Security Officer

We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to join our team. You will own the security of our premises - CCTV, access control, doors, visitors, and incident response.

• Administer access control: badge issuance and revocation, door groups, access changes
• Operate and maintain the CCTV estate in line with GDPR.
• Run visitor registration, contractor vetting, patrols, and opening and closing checks.
• Act as first responder for theft, tailgating, and trespass. Investigate, document, and coordinate with police and building management.
• Own physical security policy and audit evidence.
• Manage guarding, alarm monitoring, locksmith, CCTV, and access control vendors.
• Maintain door hardware and the restricted key register.

• Bachelor's degree in security management or a related field. Equivalent professional experience considered.
• PSP or CPP certification is a plus.
• 3+ years in corporate security, ideally in tech or a regulated environment.
• Hands‑on with access control platforms and IP CCTV / VMS systems.
• Managing security vendors and responding to live incidents.

• Sound judgement under pressure. You stay calm during an incident and make the right call without waiting to be told.
• Dependable and proactive. You spot the propped-open door before anyone reports it.
• Attention to detail. Access logs, incident reports, and audit evidence are only useful if they are accurate.
